Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the diagnostic visit cost?

The diagnostic visit is $80. If you move forward with the repair, we put that knowledge to work right away.

Why is my Water Heater not producing hot water?

The most common causes are a tripped breaker or failed heating element on electric units, and a pilot, thermocouple or gas-supply issue on gas units. We test the system to find the cause.

My Water Heater is leaking — can it be repaired?

It depends on where the leak is. Leaks from fittings, valves or connections can often be repaired. If the tank itself is leaking, the unit usually needs replacement.

Should I repair or replace my Water Heater?

Tank Water Heaters typically last about 8–12 years. If yours is within that range and the tank is sound, repair may make sense. If the tank is rusting or leaking, replacement is usually the better option.

Do you work on tankless Water Heaters?

Yes. We diagnose error codes and service common tankless components, including igniters and sensors. We also perform descaling flushes.

What should I do if I smell gas or see an active leak?

Leave the area and contact the gas utility or emergency services if you smell gas. For a water leak, shut off the water only if it is safe to do so, then contact us for the earliest available visit.
